कबड्डी ला सुगीचे दिवस !

कबड्डी हा मुख्यत्वे महाराष्ट्रातील तांबडया मातीतला खेळ. हा खेळ दोन संघांमध्ये खेळला जातो. प्रत्येक संघात ७ खेळाडू असतात. हा खेळ सांघिक खेळ असून या खेळाची खास बात म्हणजे खेळादरम्यान आऊट झालेला खेळाडू परत जिवंत होऊन संघामध्ये सामील होऊ शकतो.

हा खेळ एवढा चांगला असूनही याला म्हणावी तशी पब्लिसिटी मिळाली नव्हती. नेमकं हेच काम प्रो कबड्डी लीग ने करून दाखवलं आणि हा खेळ स्टार च्या वाहिनीने भारतातल्या घराघरांत पोहोचवला. यावर्षी त्याचा पहिलाच सीजन चालू असून त्यात सध्या ८ संघ असून महाराष्ट्रातील २ संघ आहेत. हे लीग आता अल्पावधीतच विलक्षण लोकप्रिय झाले आहे व दिवसेंदिवस हे लीग पाहणार्यांची संख्या वाढतच आहे. हे सर्व बघता कबड्डी ला सुगीचे दिवस आले असं म्हणण्यास वावगं ठरु नये. अर्थात याचे श्रेय सर्व गुणी खेळाडू, कोचेस, लीग आणि स्टार वाहिनीची सर्व टीम यांना द्यायलाच हवे.

Sarcasm at its best !

Yesterday Jeffrey Archer tweeted a photo of Mrs Tendulkar with himself and within few minutes it got favorited and retweeted thousand of times. I think this was sarcastic tweet for Maria Sharapova who said 'who is Sachin Tendulkar?' few days ago. Hope she viewed this tweet and got the answer now.

Facebook @ 10

February 04, 2014 is the day when facebook turned 10. Big moment for Mark Zuckerberg and team. To celebrate this moment their team came with 1 minute short film which is for each user and its' quite awesome. That lookback video contains when an individual joined facebook, early moments of that person, status which got maximum likes and some of selected photos which were shared by that individual in his/her journey with facebook.

I liked the idea behind this very much. This is how facebook surprising all of us regularly and it done it one more time.

Its Telegram Vs. WhatsApp now

New messaging app on play store and its Telegram. At first, I thought it is copy of WhatsApp, but it's not. Some features i liked the most about Telegram are end to end encryption, fast sending/receiving of messages i.e. it's speed, self destruction of messages on both devices which not left any traces of messages on their servers. Unlike WhatsApp here one can send data upto 1 GB(it can be mp3,videos,documents,pdf's etc.) and group size of 100 people. Unique idea of this app is it's cloud based, so that one can access data from multiple devices.

Only time will tell which is the best messaging app, whether it is Telegram or WhatsApp?

January 24, 1984 is the date when the Apple unveiled Macintosh which transformed home computing.

The friendly desktop machine referred to as the ''Mac" and, importantly, the ability to control it by clicking on icons with a “mouse,” opened computing to non-geeks in much the way that touchscreens later allowed almost anyone get instantly comfortable with smartphones or tablets. The Macintosh computer, introduced 30 years ago on Friday, was at the core of a legendary rivalry between late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs and Microsoft mastermind Bill Gates.

Marathi movies now looking as gamechanger

Just few months back, we saw the mind-blowing response to Sanjay Jadhav's 'Duniyadari' and witnessed a controversy between 'Duniyadari' and 'Chennai Express' on the number of screens allocated in single screen theatres. One thing is now clear that, if the film content is good then the public response is also terrific. This is once again proved by the success of Ravi Jadhav's new movie 'Timepass'. Not only this movie is running housefull in its' third week but also achieved benchmark of fastest 25 Crore club which is previously on the name of 'Duniyadari'. More records will definitely be achieved as movie continuously getting good response. In Maharashtra, many centres recorded 'Timepass' business more than 'Dhoom 3' and this information is given on Twitter by 'Taran Adarsh' who is well-known Bollywood film critic and trend analyst.
