Motorola Moto G looks promising

Finally, The much-awaited launch of the Moto G in India is scheduled for the last week of January, the Times of India reports.

Features:

  • Snapdragon 400 chipset with a quad-core 1.2GHz processor,
  • Adreno 305 GPU along with 1GB RAM,
  • Android OS v4.3 Jelly Bean with Android 4.4 update reportedly coming as soon as January 2014,
  • The rear of the smartphone has a 5MP camera,
  • The front has a 1.3MP video-calling camera,
  • 2070 mAh battery,
  • available in a bunch of colours such as red, yellow, blue and more.


The smartphone will be available in two storage variants – 8GB and 16GB.

EDIT: A Google Play edition of Motorola’s budget-friendly Moto G has been quietly launched for purchase in the United States for $179 for the 8GB version and $199 for the 16GB version.

**As of now there is no information with regards to its international availability of the Moto G Google Play edition.
The big draw for Moto G is its good performance, considering its supposedly low price, and availability of fast Android updates.
